Postma Consultants is a professional structural engineering firm located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The business is operated by a highly qualified Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with a long history in the field and a broad range of industry experience. We have previous undertaken work in areas such as building and mining structures, bridges and roads, core analysis and soil testing as well as geotechnical and forensic engineering. After working in large engineering companies for many years, we recognized the need for a new engineering consultancy on the Sunshine Coast offering a personalized high-quality service. Hence, Postma Consultants cam into being in 2015 and quickly established relationships with builders, architects and other businesses in the local construction industry which helped us build up our local client base quite rapidly.
As every project is different, before a structure is built, a team including architects, builders, engineers and others collaborate to achieve the best design solution for the particular project. Postma Consultants are specialists in arriving at the most appropriate design solutions from structural, architectural and economic aspects. We also ensure builders have all the details they need so they can effectively communicate with all parties involved during the design and building process. Furthermore, Postma Consultants is actively involved in solving any problems that may arise during construction for both clients and builders. We produce high level plans meeting all Australian Engineering Standards for structures which are required by law to be designed by a registered structural engineer. Postma Consultants provides a flexible service to a diverse range of clients with a focus on excellent communication and takes full legal responsibility for the accuracy of all our work.
